Following the colossal success of Super You&Me parties across the globe, Laidback Luke has fastened his cape and is now preparing for its next instalment. The announcement he has chosen London for this to take place has been met with huge excitement, with thousands of music lovers from across the UK and beyond already registered for the limited tickets. We can now reveal that Luke’s unique party concept will take place at Brixton’s outstanding auditorium Electric, on Friday 1st March. Super You&Me will feature the Dutch turbine himself, alongside a carefully hand-picked selection of the planets most talented DJs. Spellbound by an extraordinary level of world class production, traditional club rules will be left behind when Laidback Luke’s Super You&Me debuts at Electric.

The result of this collaboration: ‘Strobelight’ a huge electro track filled with some of Lee’s greatest homemade samples and a good dose of Luke’s magic. They messed around with the samples and created a major bass-line, which is key in this track. Laidback Luke’s experience with a piano surely came to hand as the piano lead sets a great atmosphere in the build-up of the track. The strobe light vocal came from Lee, he wanted to use this for ages. For the crowd and sound-technicians it’s a call to get wild!

Laidback Luke and Lee Mortimer really hit the spot with this one. The track is already supported by the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Diplo and David Guetta. It’s a sure thing this track will get the attention from clubbers and music lovers worldwide.

Through the years Mixmash Records has showcased the talents of some of the biggest names in todays dance music. It was Avicii’s ‘Ryu’ that garnered him a first glimpse of the successes that he is now turning out by the dozen. And it was on Mixmash where he released his first ever compilation CD. It was Steve Angello’s and Laidback Luke’s own – Show Me Love that catapulted both old friends into a mainstream in a manner which at that time was unheard off for the dance music scene. That type of success was later emulated by Laidback Luke and Steve Aoki’s (feat Lil John) – Turbulence but also applied to the cases of Afrojack, Sandro Silva, Hardwell, Anger Dimas, Dyro and Swanky Tunes. It was Mixmash Records that played an intricate part in the shaping of their early careers.

So much has Mixmash become known for setting the trend musically that the scene as a whole looks towards the label to identify key artists and releases. An aspect that has attracted more established artists to earn this ultimate stamp of coolness. Cue releases, remixes and features from the likes of Diplo, Tiesto, A Trak, Sander van Doorn, Martin Solveig, Chuckie, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and more. But naturally at the core Mixmash will always embrace the ‘new kids’, some of which will be especially highlighted as part of the “Ones to Watch” - series – for the near future expect releases from Tom Staar, Moska, Koele Vaten, Mickey Fortune, Saintz Liz and Uberjakd. Trilogy is a mixture of bounciness, hardcore vibrancy and progressive house chords like never heard before. Through the winning combination of Laidback Luke, Arno Cost and Norman Doray, each of them is able to bring their own signature sound to Trilogy. For the brilliant trio 2011 was one busy year. Luke launched his trendsetting Turbulence, Natural Disaster, Who's Wearing The Cap. Arno exploded the dancefloors with his own "The Days To come" and remixed the likes of Martin Solveig (Ready To Go), Moby (Lie Down In Darkness), David Guetta (Titanium). In between his heavily scheduled gigs, Norman Doray has managed to co-produce the huge summer anthem "Chase The Sun", mind-blowing "Kalifornia" and remixed David Guetta (Little Bad Girl).
The new collaboration "Trilogy", formerly known as ‘Yummie’, now shows a lot more depth due to the fusion of different elements and styles of its authors. It’s as if it was given a sexy and fresh transformation to become a new rave-monster kindly adopted by Mixmash Records.

The Trilogy remixes package is coming soon! Hot and happening Swanky Tunes will give it even more progressive twist, Sebjak will spice it with a bit of tech house, GTA will smash it all with the heavy dubstep beats and Sam o Neall & C6 will bring it to the stylish electro sound.

Recently Luke has been widely honored as ‘The Hardest Working Man in the Dutch Showbusiness.’ With 149 performances Luke is on top of the list of artists with the most ‘gigs’ abroad. Since he is constantly travelling abroad was partly due to the real Super You&Me winning streaks with multiple editions in Ibiza, Miami, New York and Los Angeles. Now, a few weeks before the infamous Miami Music Week, Luke is approaching Amsterdam with his companions. That the choice fell on AIR is not surprising! As Super You&Me, AIR is fresh and musically innovative and both guarantee quality.

Super You&Me is known for its progressive line ups – Superheroes stood here before such as Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Wolfgang Gartner, Fakeblood, Martin Solveig and DJ Mehdi. The next generation of superheroes is preparing their attack for this years edition; alongside Laidback Luke Congorock, Sandro Silva and La Fuente will ensure that the Amsterdam is a must-see event.

Congorock – a musical trendsetter from Italy, as one of the first who could bring fidget house to a larger audience. He gained a lot of respect in the underground scene with releases on Fool’s Gold but for now it does well on the commercial based Ultra Records. His reputation mainly was established due to his performances with unique energetic 130 bpm ghetto, fidget and electro house.

Sandro Silva – His hit “Epic” (with Quintino) reached became a NR1 hit record in The Netherlands and was even awarded with a Golden Plaque. Get Lower (with Bizzey) showed that this young contender is not afraid of experimenting with dance. Sandro just returned from a tour in Australia, and just before his tour in the U.S., the return to Amsterdam will show why this guy has made a remarkable impact on the dance scene in such a short time.

La Fuente – the friendly-looking blonde afro haired DJ from Amsterdam is known for his huge catchy ‘high energy’ way of turning. He will make sure that Super You&Me will keep you dancing throughout the night.

We got tens of covers: from the traditional vocal, piano and guitar covers to iPad mixing, comedian poetry, even videos with special effects and the new original rap lyrics featured!

The participants collected thousands of "Likes". In the last couple of days before the end of the contest we had two obvious leaders of the "Likes" race. And even though the Polish girl Patrycja with her angelic voice and the guitar cover was very close to win, the charismatic Matteo from Germany with his original rap lyrics took the "survival kit" home with over 400 Likes under his video.

We hope to be able to communicate better with you, the fans, so that you can get all the things you like such as previews, releases, tour dates, videos etc. Everything is there, so less hustle and a very direct access to it.

Laidback Luke and Sander van Doorn teamed up for the next stellar release on Mixmash Records. The track, with a rather intriguing name "Who's' Wearing The Cap", brings the best of both worlds.

The banging track where trance meets progressive and blends into electro has its own story. "People sometimes mix me up with Luke," says Sander van Doorn in his interview with DJ Mag, "so in the studio, he was wearing a cap, we took a picture for Twitter asking, 'Who's Wearing The Cap?' and that became the name of the track!"

Since the words "piano" and "Dutch" became the driving force of the track, the original "Dutchano" name was born.
