Luke, I'd like to know which of the "Otherwize Then" versions is your remix, and which is the original mix.
I'm in doubt because in Beatport, it says the original mix is the 7:46, and your remix is the 7:29. But in iTunes, is says the 7:46 is your remix and the original is the 7:29.
So which is the original, and which is your remix?

Mine is with the rattling, spastik type drums. It's a bit more techno and energetic than the original.

Ok, I'm not that expert distinguishing those types, could you please just tell me which version did you use in you 2007 Bootleg pack, for the mir with It's Like That? Was it your remix or the original?

Just check beatport and there is your answer. Luke's remix is the one of the bootleg yes.

I checked Beatport, iTunes, and lots of other websites, and I couldn't come up with a conclusion as to which is Luke's remix, so I'll be waiting for Luke to come and answer this last one... I repeat:

Dear Luke,
What do I have to do so you accept my friend request in Facebook.

PS:Try to swing by Chicago again sometime soon, I'd love to see you again as it looks like I will not be able to make it to WMC due to lack of $=(

Much love!

A limiter and multiband compressor can do some work for you. And some EQ-ing.

Hey Luke!

I have a question regarding your ClubFG mixes. Are u recording them live off your decks like playing a set in a club? Or do you "prepare" them step by step like with editing and stuff? If so, what software are u using for that? Ableton maybe?

I do some kinda hobby-mixing on virtualDJ but all without hardware as i dont have decks or a mixer. Just on the Screen with mouse and keyboard. But i record that live for my mixes. The big disantvantage in that is, when i make a mistake at let's say 45minutes its just there and i would have to do all of the mix again. That's why i maybe want to try some software for making mixes, but i'm afraid that this kinda method isn't really DJ-ing any more.

greets from austria, peinti

PS: Saw u 2 times in vienna till now and it has been absolutely bodacious!!! PLEASE COME BACK TO AUSTRIA VERY SOON!

pretty sure everything is done live - a pair of CDJs and a mixer. He doesn't pre-programed his sets with a computer or anything like it. I know, he is that GOOOOOD!

Hey I have a question. Does anybody know where I can find the acapella from the song by Bobby Burns ''I'm From Holland'' ? I really really need it for like the first track I'm working on. I've nearly got the hang of logic, but all that mastering and stuff is still gibberish to me. Although I will post the track when im done for some feedback from the man himslef hopefully :D

Yea dude you have to remember he has been doing this for over a decade. And keep in mind how many gigs he does in a year. There's no time for getting rusty or having an off day lol.

When you do remixes, do you just charge a one off fee or do you go on royalties?

See you in cardiff man!
