What got you into electronic music?

I've always been into the electronic type sound without knowing what it was called. I remember being in the 5th grade listening to my cd player on the bus...Daft Punk's homework CD. I never understood where to find more of that music so I always stuck to that CD.
I soon forgot about all that until the 7th grade. Boom, I hear "Boten Anna" by Basshunter. Then I get sucked into those "Basshunter-y" type trance tunes. 9th grade comes, I discover the song "Open Your Heart" from Dirty South and Axwell. My life has changed from that point on. Everything consists of music.
Also, I'm in the 11th grade now .

So what got you guys into EDM?

I never use to be a fan of dance music, I went to rubbish under age discos which played the likes of scooter - the logical song and other rubbish. It all sounded the same really, high pitched voices an very basic beats. I think I then heard laylo an bushwacka - lovestory once and loved the song but that was it. I finally got into it when I went to Turkey in 09 and my mate had blau on his ipod, it must of got played 7 times a night. I then got into afrojack an deadmau5, then I started going to cream in Liverpool which I still do. I have seen all my fave dj's from the likes of luke an afrojack to the swedes an thomas gold and I love it!
