But I was just wondering, how would I be able to do better transitions as mine always seem to be terrible, and I end up bring the track in to late or to early. Any kind of help would be great, also can anyone point me to a website, video, or book on EQ. Thanks in advance guys.

Hmm, I'm not a superstar DJ but reading your problem it sounds like it's just experience + knowing the tracks you are playing? If you know how both tracks are built up you figure out automatically what points you can start in the new track and on which point you can fade it in? I just DJ every now and then at small party thingies so I'm not a real DJ. I'm sure someone from here could comment on this!

I completely understand, I had the same thing. Just keep on DJing. Things will make sense at one time, and when it does, the fun will start even more!

Agree with rasta eddy, seems you begining to dj. If you use traktor, or really any other software that shows you the grafic of the track (like a draw) you can easlly nail the transition, for instance you know that track on deck 1 is going to lose the "edge" 16bars from now, and the track on deck 2 only pumps in 16 bars from the begining, press play (deck2) and.. there you go!! You should get the endcome you expect, dont forget beatmatching, I think thats not your problem but just in case... dont forget, also, to cut the bass of the track you bringing in.. only one kick(bass) should be playing. This is really the basic stuff, practice and you'll see its easy. It resumes to knowing the tracks you're going to play. Than when you get more confortable try new thing, be creative

alsooo is there any way i can use the hot cues in rekordbox on them??
the internet hasn't helped me, i just keep getting videos of avicii.....

I've never touched those 350's so I don't know how the jog is feeling on there, but they do support the use of Pioneer's Rekordbox software. I guess this guy shows you how a few basics work:
Just don't forget to export your tracks to an usb device!
Maven wrote:Well moving the jog wheel from the sides is moving the beat forward or backwards very slightly, it is used to align the beat if you hit play couple ms late or early.
