How to create the slowing down effect in Ableton

Hi guys I was just wondering how you would make the slowing down effect for example at 4:17 in Kontiki (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gw7NyVc4qg) in ableton live

These are the last notes of the chords but on hold (just make long chord notes ,make sure sustain is at maximum), with a LP 24 (lowpass) filter linked to a LFO running in free mode so unsycned. Automate the Rate of the lfo from high speed to slow speed (1/32 -> 2/1) but unsynced so the automation won't follow the grid (1/64/32/16/8/4/2 dotted etc).

Thanks for the help I had a feeling it had something to do with a LFO. I'm using the LFO Tool what type of Shape would you recommend for this effect then?

just use the inbuilt lFO tool, most synths has them.

You should use the SINE wave shape, you can hear it goes up & down clearly right? Its a sine wave form.

Oh thank you :) I just used the LFO with a Sine wave in massive and it sounded so much better, You have helped a lot, I really appreciate your time/input

Not to try to sound over rigid or anything, but wouldn't it rather be a saw up LFO in this track guys?
