im not sure but i dont think it needs an external hd,i think you just plug it into your rcas and thats it
midge wrote:the ikey has its own volume recording level......if your level is too high going into the ikey then the 'level clip' or something like that light will flash....u simply set the level on the ikey down to a point where this light flashes only now and then or not at all...... this is good because u can crank your speakers up so you can clearly hear your mixing then drop the level going into tho ikey so it doesnt distort.
