The Ones To Look Out For Vol. 3

Image

THE ONES TO WATCH EP VOL.3 IS ALL ABOUT ELECTRO!

Electro, electro and more electro! Our fresh 3rd volume of The Ones To Watch Eps goes far beyond any volume level!

This time we bring you the fast rising US based Matthew LeFace and DJ Dstar with their extremely stylish tune called "Xomp". Matthew Le Face and his surprising fresh sound teamed up with Mr. Electric-Taste & Mixing Expert Dstar to break the borders of your music imagination! "Xomp" is so catchy, it could easily fit as a soundtrack for an action blockbuster!

One more star on the EP is Ollie Jones who prepared a true "electro shock" for you. His track with a daring name "F**k That" is surely to hit you with its heavy bouncing beats, powerful bass and absolutely demolishing drop!

Following up is a Dutch new name Saint Liz who is all about fast mixing and heavy sound. All that is now packed into his "Hang On A Second", an edgy electro weapon that might put an unexpected hardcore pressure on your speakers!

And, to round up this dynamic EP, there is no one better than the familiar Striker with his upbeat "Abdo Minimal". This tune is just more than catchy! With the dark bass lines, great chords progressions and polished sound, this track makes a bright final note to the release!

"The Ones To Watch" EP Vol.3 is out via Beatport on the 28th of May.

Mixmash Soundcloud Description:
For the one’s that brought you the mind-blowing track “AMNESIA” and the electro driven tune “KLAV”, Mixmash Records now presents a bombastic collaboration between Dyro & Loopers called “MONSTER TALK”!

The Dutch DJ’s created a new style of electronic house! “Monster Talk” is all about old school synthesizers which make you feel like you are back in time, playing Space Invaders. This track has a strong robotic synth line, which is bound to make you chant along. You won’t know what is happening to your body as it moves uncontrollably due to the sick bass line. The build-up makes it seem like that you have to re-load your ammunition and fire away the drop to fight against the MONSTER! The chorus gives the whole track a dark and ominous feeling as if the Monster is screaming for more!

“Monster Talk” will be released officially via Beatport on the 17th of May 2012. Go and get your taste!

Did you know that this festival anthem is the official soundtrack for the Heineken commercial this summer? “We Are The Stars” gives you catchy lyrics from Martel and heavy synths by Laidback Luke which are bound to make you chant along! It gives you that “summer-feeling” which you have been waiting for all this time. After the build-up the drop turns the floor to a dance-battle field!

Every party should make you dance and have a good time. This is your time to feel like a star and make this a party anthem you will never forget.

READY FOR THE "NIGHT IN MOSCOW" WITH REVERO?

Revero has already left a glorious impression after his brilliant remix for Quintino and Apster’s “Music Oh” and his very own Some Sort Of Love EP on our imprint. Getting support from the likes of Tiesto, Afrojack, Laidback Luke, John Dahlback, Nicky Romero, Chocolate Puma and many more, this young and dangerous Dutch upriser returns to Mixmash for the third time and one can clearly see that he is not slowing down! Now he presents his second official EP featuring two astounding tracks: “Night In Moscow” and “French Nights”.

In his "Night In Moscow" Revero reveals yet another edge of his diverse sound, making a step towards electro-driven drops and high pitched build-ups topped by somewhat festival drums. We all know that Moscow never sleeps. Well, surely it won't when this track is on!

The second tune on the EP is about the night out on the other side of the continent - France to be precise. "French Nights" is a typical Revero sound: clear and stylish piano harmonies that captivate listeners and leave them constantly yearning for more.

The "Night In Moscow" EP is due for release on the 18th of June via Beatport.

"THE ONES TO WATCH" ARE COMING! 4TH EP IN ROW AND STILL ROCKIN'!

Once we started revealing you the new names and their ambitious productions, it is hard to stop. 'The Ones To Watch" EPs has been of a great success so far and we are thrilled to present you our following 4th Volume.

This time the party is ruled by the likes of already known to us Wax Motif and WiWek (remember their remixes of Sandro Silva & Oliver Twizt's "Gladiator"?), Dutch Jaz von D and the Los Angeles based phenomena Deorro (formerly known as Ton!c)

The EP kicks off with Wax Motif's "Particle" which is full of surprises. From the somewhat old-school disco chords interpreted in a new big-room sound you are taken into an absolutely unexpected double-heavy bass drop. The track injects a magic portion of adrenalin, so we warned you!

Dutch WiWek keeps pumping out massive tunes and his next track on this EP "Pleistocene" is surely one of those. Frequently supported by the likes of Tiesto and Diplo, WiWek now showcases his diverse talents in melodic interludes paired with crazy drum lines and distorted electro beats.

Jaz von D with his "Rave Nation", is a perfectly styled dramatic track which is about to take you on a yet another adventure. Listening this tune, you totally imagine yourself as an 007 agent jumping though the roofs, escaping from the bullets and catching this last minute flying-away helicopter while the ground is shaking and cars are exploding. Yes, this sort of feeling is what "Rave Nation" is all about.

And to wrap it nicely we welcome American Deorro (formally known as Ton!c) on "The Ones To Watch" EP Vol.4! Deorro has a great bunch of fans and made quite a buzz with his "Fire" & "Voodoo" albums hitting over 1 million downloads across the globe. Now he gives you "Bounce" which is a great electro track tactfully mixed in a blend of distortions, synths, and funky drums.

The Ones To Watch EP Vol.4 is out on the 2nd of July via Beatport.

Wax Motif - Particle (Original Mix)

WiWek - Pleistocene (Original Mix)

STEP 2 3 4 STEP 2 3 4!

Mixmash Records is here to present you another release which ensures you get your steps right! We welcome back Gregor Salto with his newest release called "Azumba"! We all remember the hit single by Laidback Luke & Gregor Salto feat. Mavis Acquah "Step by Step" back in 2009.

Now Gregor comes back with a blasting track which is bound to teach you some discipline!

It's as if a military camp caught jungle fever and trains to Congo drums! AZUMBA consists of rhythmic snare drums along with deep steel drums. The deep beat of the bass makes sure that this is a track you shake your hips to.

Go get caught in jungle fever with Azumba!

Azumba will be released exclusively on Beatport on the 9th of July.

LAIDBACK LUKE FEAT. MARTEL - "WE ARE THE STARS" IS BACK WITH REMIXES!

In just 2 weeks since the release this memorable summer anthem has already been aired at EURO 2012, featured in the Heineken TV commercial and played over 150 000 times on Youtube. Now get ready for the remixes from our heavyweight label residents: La Fuente and Avesta!

Systematically ripping up every dancefloor known to a man, La Fuente meanwhile finds time to kick off some crazy productions. His remix of We Are The Stars is a good old La Fuente drum-driven vibe spiced to the limit with some distorted electro lines and heavy synths. The anthemic mode is full on and the vocals get echoed to enhance the surround effect of "the field full of stars".

His accelerating success has no breaks when we speak of Avesta. After his latest "Rollin" on Mixmash there's no doubt this guy aims far. And his remix of We Are The Stars is another brilliant proof to that. Avesta enriches the original with a pack of loud drums and typical Avesta's insane drops putting some crazy sirens on top.

Expect "We Are The Stars" to continue dominating the festival wave this summer. The remixes package is due for release on the 2nd of July via Beatport.

Release date: Jul 2, 2012
